	---A CALL TO ARMS--- Wanted:  Any patriot willing    to show support for the Constitution. Well our government officials are at it again.  Because of political correctness, they have taken away our right to free speech.  To save energy, they have taken away your right to choose what kind of light bulbs you want to use.  They will continue to try to force area motorcyclists to wear helmets, thus their freedom of choice.  And now they
want to take away your right to peacefully demonstrate.    That's right!  Moline Police Chief Gary Francque made comments recently that   he didn't want to support the Bi-State Motorcycle Awareness Ride or even   provide -paid- officers to block off streets.  He doesn't want to have the public   inconvenienced by having to wait on the parade.  It is my belief that the   inconvenience is exactly what the Awareness Ride "PARADE" is for.  To bring   attention to the public that it's riding season and they need to get off their cell   phones and start watching for motorcycles, bikers, joggers any legal means of   transportation allowed on the streets.  Far to many innocent people are hit by   drivers claiming "they didn't see the victim."   What can you do?  Tuesday April 1st you can join others at the Moline City Hall   at 6:45pm and attend the City Council meeting.  Be there in person and watch   Moline's fathers take away another one of your Constitutional rights.  We need   to take a stand and say enough is enough.   To read more about this local issue please go to this address and type in   Awareness Ride.   http://qconline.com/qcnews/archives/qco/search.php   I would like to thank everyone who attended the Moline City Council meeting   Tuesday April first.  Your show of support was heart warming.  I would also like   to thank the Moline City Council for waking up and allowing the 24th Annual   Bi-State Awareness Ride to happen!   I hope East Moline and Rock Island do   the same.   OK, Saturday May 3rd, rain or shine plan on attending the 24th Annual Bi-State   Awareness Ride at the Rock Island County Fairgrounds in East Moline, IL.   Tire kicking and late registrations starts at 11am, Parade at 1pm.    Hope to see you there.         www.awarenessride.com
