26th Annual CYCLE WORLD
  International Motorcycle Show 2007

February 9-11 at the Donald E Stephens
  Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.

Well I don't know about you but I don't get
to the BIG CITY very often.  So when I do
I'm always overwhelmed by all the activity and
PEOPLE!  Getting to the metro Chicago area
to me must be like entering a Black Hole.
It seems, the closer you get the faster you go!

Attending this annual event has never
disappointed me.  Getting a look at almost
 every major motorcycle manufacturer's new
line-ups and vendors galore is awesome.
This years show included the World's Fastest
Motorcycle, the BUB #7 Streamliner.  The
land speed record holder as of late September
last year.  Rider Chris Carr set the new record
at the Bonneville Salt Flats with runs of
354.832mph and 346.939mph for an average
 speed of 350.884mph.  "That's FAST".

Custom Bike Builders Keino and Paul Cox of
Indian Larry's Legacy were present to greet
fans, sell cool clothing and sign autographs.
The BOSS Stunt Show featuring Brandon and
Preston Landers inside the Ball of Steel
thrilled attendees.  There was an area for Big
 Twin Customs and Custom Sportbike
 "People's Choice Awards" where attendees
could vote on their favorite bike.  Winners
were picked after each show with a best of
show awarded at the seasons end.   And to
top it all off the debut of the $250,000
 Custom Star Cruiser  "Nemesis" (middle
picture third row down) designed and built by
 Broward Motorsports/BMS Choppers of
 Davies Florida.

I can't go into all the vendors but to me there
was one that really stood out.  A three
 wheeled vehicle called the T-REX.1400R.
With a 1352cc 4 cylinder engine it can propel
 you to 0-100 km in 3.92 seconds.  It's a
pretty cool ride and could be the big new
 choice in transportation.  www.go-t-rex.com

So, we had a great time as usual and the
traffic headed home didn't seem as bad.  I'm
looking forward to a full up-coming riding
season.  And after another long winter,
 attending next years Cycle World's
 International Motorcycle Show.
