Well area Bikers you never cease to amaze me.
Having been involved in the fund raiser for Niabi Zoo it was a
given which one would attend. But you guys, you had so many
choices of great rides to participated in on Saturday August
27th I don't know how you could choose? The Niabi route
intersected several other Runs and at times it appears everyone
was on the road. It was a fantastic sight to see. I trust all
were
safe and the events were as successful as ours was.
Considering the competition, we had a good turnout and raised
$500 for Niabi Zoo's general fund. That's a lot of Monkey
Chow or money to be used for whatever is needed. If you
were present you heard the name Dave Foust so many times he
should run for public office. It was truly Dave's day. Dave
was
first to sign in, Best Hand winner, Door Prize and Raffle Prize
winner! Congratulations Dave. Maybe your lack of sleep was
lucky for you!
I'd like to thank everyone that helped make this event a
successful one and that includes the stops. Ducky's Lagoon,
The Barn in New Boston, The City Limits in Viola, Jim's
Knoxville Tap in Milan, Crabby's Bar in Coal Valley and of
coarse the East End Club in Moline. And not to be forgotten,
Darrell Caldwell and Steve Rosales for doing all the grunt work!
